IT Support Specialist II
IT Support Specialist II
During my time in college I learned about common computer components, troubleshooting techniques, and creating websites and databases.
In 2020, my last Fall semester, I was a student technician on my school campus. I was tasked with setting up IT devices, installing software, and assisting staff and students with devices issues. I also performed customer services, ran campus errands, and assisted administrative staff.
Currently I am an IT Specialist for Effingham County, GA Board of Commissioners. I provide IT support for County employees. I teach end users how to use software they are not familiar with, and install new parts into County machines when needed. I am also familiar with AV equipment and I record most of the Board meetings streamed to the County's Youtube. Other daily tasks include troubleshooting, installing software, and settings up new equipment.
